What’s in Season?
IN SPRING…. beautiful flowers, perennials, trees and shrubs kick off the growing season – lots of color abounds, which is happily embraced after our Northeast Pennsylvania winter.
IN SUMMER…a celebration of life with our gardens at the heart of it all…our team can help you plan a pollinator habitat!
IN FALL…fantastic colors of fall foliage are in full splendor – pumpkins, mums and fall flowers also brighten our days.
IN WINTER…the colors of the season are expressed through an array of evergreens in our live arrangements lasting all winter…indoor plants help satisfy our gardening souls.
Plants Grown With Love
The annuals and perennials offered in our greenhouse and gardens are lovingly nurtured on site by our green thumbed staff.
You’ll see the difference in our entire plant selection… lots of love and attention yields healthy plants. Starting with a healthy plant is a good way to ensure success.
Come and walk through the gardens even if only to relish the beauty – displays are always evolving with seasons and provide much inspiration.

Water Garden
Visit us throughout the spring and summer and you will see many ponds and waterfalls to inspire and enjoy. Kids love to visit and look for frogs in our water features throughout the gardens!

Kids Garden
The Kids Garden features early spring bulbs, bubbling water features designed for summer heat and curious small hands, and a small gravel play area complete with shovels and trucks to provide simple entertainment for the little ones.

Our Butterfly Lifecycle
In the summer season we host a butterfly installation on the front porch. You’ll see various stages of the butterfly lifecycle and many days we’re releasing newly emerged adults.
The Gardens FAQs
Can you pot up my plants for me?
We’ll transplant the plant of your choosing into either a pot you’ve purchased from our garden center, or one you’ve brought from home. Cost: $2.
Who Designs Your Displays?
We have a small creative team who is always collaborating on new and seasonal displays.
Are you open all year?
We close for a few short weeks in January for a winter break, but are open the whole rest of the year. Our offerings change with the seasons, stop in to see whats in-season in Northeastern PA.
Do you create custom planters and arrangements?
We love creating custom planters, baskets, and cut green arrangements for our guests. If you’re interested in a custom arrangement you can give us a call or stop in to discuss your needs.
